MORELESS.TOOLS is a free online platform with dozens of tools for everyday tasks. We offer generators (QR codes, passwords, UUIDs), converters (images, documents, encodings**), calculators, PDF tools, text editors, and more. Most tools run in your browser for maximum privacy.

Yes - and we mean really free. Not "free for 7 days" free. Not "free with limited features" free. Not "free but you need to create an account" free. Every single tool is 100% free, forever - no hidden fees, no premium tiers, no trial periods that expire, no feature locks. What you see is what you get, and what you get is everything. We sustain ourselves through non-intrusive advertising.

MORELESS.TOOLS was created by Daniel Kapraľ and Anthony Pilz - two developers passionate about making useful tools accessible to everyone. What started as a frustration with paywalled online tools became a mission. Learn more about our story on the About page.

The name reflects our philosophy - MORE functionality with LESS hassle. More tools, less complexity. More features, less tracking. More value, less cost (zero, actually!).

No installation required! MORELESS.TOOLS works entirely in your web browser. Just visit our website and start using any tool immediately. Works on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and any modern browser.

Absolutely! Our website is fully responsive and works great on smartphones and tablets. All tools are optimized for touch interfaces. You can even add our site to your home screen for an app-like experience.

No limits whatsoever. Use any tool as many times as you want, generate as many files as you need, process as much data as you like. There are no daily caps, no usage quotas, no artificial restrictions.

Client-side tools (marked "client") work offline once the page is loaded because processing happens in your browser. However, you'll need an internet connection to initially load the page. Server-assisted tools require an active connection.

It depends on the tool. Our Image Converter supports JPG, PNG, WEBP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, TIFF as output formats, plus HEIC input (iPhone photos). PDF tools work with standard PDF files. The Code editor supports many popular programming languages with syntax highlighting. Check each tool's documentation for specific format support.

Since processing happens in your browser, the limit depends on your device's available memory. Most modern devices can handle files up to 100MB easily. For very large files, processing may be slower on older devices.

You have several options:

• Press Ctrl+K (or ⌘+K on Mac) to open the Command Palette
• Check the documentation sidebar

The Command Palette is a quick-access feature (press Ctrl+K or ⌘+K) that lets you instantly search and navigate to any tool, access your favorites, view recent tools, and perform common actions without using the mouse.

Click the heart icon on any tool page to add it to your favorites. Access your favorites anytime by clicking the heart icon in the header. Favorites are stored locally in your browser and persist across sessions on the same browser.

Yes! Click the Extra settings icon (six-dots) in the header to access Settings. Your settings are saved locally and persist across sessions.

Yes! Common shortcuts include Ctrl/⌘+K (Command Palette) and tool-specific shortcuts. Check each tool's interface for available shortcuts.

Most tools let you download results as files or copy to clipboard. Some tools (like Age calculator) provide additional sharing options for results. Since processing is mostly local, there are no shareable links for your uploaded/processed data - your data stays private.

No - and you literally can't even if you wanted to. There's no registration system anywhere on MORELESS.TOOLS. Zero. Not a single "Sign up" button, no email fields, no password creation. We don't want your personal information - we just want you to use the tools. That's it.

Your preferences (favorites, settings) are stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB. This data never leaves your device and isn't sent to any server. You can export or delete it anytime from the settings.

Yes! Click the six-dots icon in the header (Extra settings), then click Import/Export Data. You can export all your data (favorites, presets, settings, history) as a JSON file and import it on another device or browser.

Click the six-dots icon in the header (Extra settings), then click Clear all data at the bottom. This removes all locally stored data including favorites, presets, settings, and history. Alternatively, clearing your browser's site data for MORELESS.TOOLS will also remove everything.

Currently, favorites and settings are stored per-browser since we don't have accounts. However, you can manually export your data and import it on another device using the Data Management feature in Settings.

Absolutely! Click the BUILD button in the header to submit your tool idea. Even better - join our Discord community where you can discuss ideas with other users and the team directly. Many of our tools were added based on user requests.

Currently, we don't offer a public API as most tools run client-side in the browser. However, we'll consider adding API access in the future if our community shows interest. Let us know on Discord!
