Frequently asked questions

The calculator accounts for leap years automatically. If you were born on February 29th, you still age one year - you just celebrate on Feb 28 or March 1 in non-leap years.
Health stats are estimates based on population averages. Your actual heartbeats, steps, etc. depend on your individual health, activity level, and lifestyle. They're meant to be interesting, not medical data.
A "year" is one complete orbit around the Sun. Mercury orbits quickly (88 days), so you have many Mercury years. Neptune orbits slowly (165 Earth years), so you have very few Neptune years.
Yes! Change the Age at the date of field to any future date to see how old you'll be then. Great for planning or curiosity about future ages.
Birth time is optional. Without it, your age in years, months, and days is still perfectly accurate. Birth time only affects the hours/minutes/seconds precision.
Milestones mark culturally significant ages - Teenager (13), Legal adult (18), Quarter century (25), Retirement age (65), Centenary (100). Some vary by culture, but these are commonly recognized landmarks.
Yes! Use the Share button in the result box to share via social media or messaging apps. You can also use the Copy button to paste your age into any text.
If you entered your birth time, the calculator shows your age updating in real-time. You're literally getting older every second - watch the counter tick!
