Frequently asked questions

How do I convert a PDF to JPG?

Drop your PDF, keep JPG, choose a resolution and select Convert. Then download one image or a ZIP.

Which resolution should I choose?

150 DPI suits a screen. 300 DPI suits print. A higher value makes larger files.

Can I convert only some pages?

Yes. Type the pages or click them on the canvas. With nothing chosen, every page becomes an image.

Are my files uploaded?

No. The pages are rendered in your browser and never leave your device.

Is it free?

Yes. No account, no usage limits and no watermark.

Technical details

Rendering

PDF.js draws each page in a background worker in your browser. A page larger than 16.7 million pixels is drawn at a lower resolution, and its file says so.

Formats

JPG and WebP use the quality you choose. PNG is lossless. Safari cannot write WebP, so it offers JPG and PNG.
