Create an event card without signing up. Its details are readable by anyone with the shared URL.
Choose a future date and time in your device’s local time. The countdown starts when the target is set. Choose a display with days and a clock, weeks and days with a clock, or whole days. The number of displayed days is rounded down.
Press Share to copy a link to the event card. The URL includes the title, target timestamp, clock format, display format and theme. Anyone with the link can read those details and watch a countdown to the same target moment.
For a future target, reopening the link calculates the time remaining from its target timestamp and the device clock. The countdown does not need to count every second while the page is closed. A past target is not reopened as an ongoing event, and a closed page cannot deliver its end sound.
The open page can show completion, play your chosen sound and request a browser notification if you enabled it and granted permission. A hidden tab, sleeping device or closed page can delay or prevent these cues. Keep the device awake if the alert matters.
Yes. Set the date to New Year, a birthday, a wedding, a vacation, or another future event, and pick a matching theme for the countdown screen.
The calculation runs in your browser and no account is required. The event title, target time and display choices are included in the page URL. Treat that link as readable by anyone who receives it and avoid private event details.
Elapsed and remaining time are calculated from saved timestamps and the device clock, rather than counting display updates. Changing the system clock can affect the result. Hidden tabs and suspended devices can delay phase changes and alerts.
Mode settings and recoverable session state are saved in IndexedDB in this browser. Clearing site data or using temporary browser storage can remove them. Countdown links also contain the event details needed to reopen the shared card.
Sound uses the browser’s audio API. Notifications require permission, and vibration depends on device support. There is no screen wake lock, so keep the device awake and the page open when you need timely cues.
Timer, Stopwatch, Countdown, Pomodoro, Interval and Meeting cost each have a dedicated page. They share a timer engine and local session storage, so switching between these pages can restore the saved state for each mode.
