Mark each segment and see both the lap time and the running total.
Shows elapsed time with two decimal places. Display resolution is separate from timing accuracy.
Copy a plain text summary of the last 50 marks, with lap durations and total elapsed times.
Calculates elapsed time from the device clock when the page updates, rather than counting animation frames.
Use the stopwatch in a browser on your phone or computer.
Settings and retained marks are saved in this browser, with no account required.
Press Lap while the stopwatch runs to mark the current time. Each entry shows the lap time for that segment and the total elapsed time, and the stopwatch keeps running without interruption.
A lap is the time for the current segment since your last mark. A split, or total, is the cumulative time from the start. The lap board shows both on every row so you can compare segments at a glance.
The display shows hundredths of a second, such as 00:01:12.34. That is display resolution, not a guarantee of accuracy within 0.01 seconds. Timing depends on the device clock, browser scheduling and when you press the controls.
Copy creates a plain text summary of the last 50 marks, including each lap duration and its total elapsed time. Paste it into notes, a spreadsheet or a message. These marks are also saved in this browser, but clearing site data can remove them.
Elapsed time is calculated from a start timestamp and the device clock. When you return to a hidden tab, the display updates using that elapsed time. A suspended page cannot capture lap marks, and changes to the system clock can affect the calculation.
Time races and training intervals, cooking, study sessions, workouts, or anything where you want lap and split times. It works on phones and desktops.
Elapsed and remaining time are calculated from saved timestamps and the device clock, rather than counting display updates. Changing the system clock can affect the result. Hidden tabs and suspended devices can delay phase changes and alerts.
Mode settings and recoverable session state are saved in IndexedDB in this browser. Clearing site data or using temporary browser storage can remove them. Countdown links also contain the event details needed to reopen the shared card.
Sound uses the browser’s audio API. Notifications require permission, and vibration depends on device support. There is no screen wake lock, so keep the device awake and the page open when you need timely cues.
Timer, Stopwatch, Countdown, Pomodoro, Interval and Meeting cost each have a dedicated page. They share a timer engine and local session storage, so switching between these pages can restore the saved state for each mode.
