Search can take you to a full tool when you want its complete workspace.
Open Search from the header.
Type a tool name, such as password generator. Read the result description before choosing it.
Choose the matching tool to open its workspace. Clear the query to start another search.
Browse without knowing a name
Categories help when you know the kind of job but not the tool name.
Open Search with an empty query.
Choose a category that matches your task.
Read the listed tool names and descriptions. Choose a tool, or return and try another category.
Get a direct answer
Some queries can be answered inside Search without opening a separate tool.
Enter 20% of 300.
Read the answer and its calculation context.

The command library gives examples you can adapt to your own task.
Open Search and choose Command library.
Read an example and the kind of result it produces.
Choose an example, then replace its sample values with your own.
Use a file in Search
Adding a file lets Search offer actions that work with that file.
Choose Add files in Search and select a demonstration file.
Read the available actions for that file type. Choose the action you need.
Review the action settings before running it. Download the result and open it to check that the conversion did what you intended.
Choose results with the keyboard
The keyboard keeps the query and results in one place.
Open Search with the shortcut shown in your settings.
Type your query and use the supported result navigation keys.
Press Enter on the selected result. Use Escape to close Search when you are finished.
