How to use it
Choose Split by: Range, Pages, Size or Bookmarks.
For Range with Custom, select an output file in the preview. Set its Input PDF, From page and To page. Choose Add output for another file. Each range uses page numbers within the named input PDF.
For Fixed, enter Pages per file. For Pages, select the pages to save individually. For Size, enter the maximum size and choose KB, MB or GB. Bookmarks uses the document’s available bookmark divisions.
Inspect the output groups, run Split and download the files.
Split into equal page counts
Fixed ranges create several PDFs with the same number of pages. The last file can be shorter.
Keep Range selected under Split by and choose Fixed.
Enter 1 to make one-page files, or 2 for pairs of pages.
Check the expected output count. Each input PDF is split separately.
Define a file for each interval
Custom ranges let you choose exactly where each output starts and ends.
Choose Custom under Range mode.
For each row, select the input document and enter From page and To page.
Choose Add output for another interval. Remove a row if you no longer need that output.
Split by pages, size or bookmarks
Choose a method that matches the result you need.
Choose Pages and enter a selection when each selected page should become its own PDF.
Choose Size to set a maximum size and unit. A single oversized page is saved separately.
Choose Bookmarks for document divisions based on existing bookmarks. Read the message if the input has none.
Download and check the result
The result view shows the created output. Downloading a file and checking its contents are separate steps.
Read the output name, count and size in the result view. If processing reported a problem, return to the settings and correct it before continuing.
Choose Download and keep the new file separate from your original. If several outputs are packaged together, open the archive to find them.
Open the downloaded result in a suitable viewer. Check the pages and content affected by this task. Keep your original until you are satisfied.
Output and limits
Each output remains within one input PDF. Custom ranges do not join the end of one source to the start of another. Pages creates a separate PDF for each selected page.
A single page that exceeds the size limit is saved separately. Splitting cannot make that page smaller. Use Compress to reduce file size. Divide pages is a different operation: it cuts the physical page into tiles.
