How to use it

  1. Open the PDF in the editor. Choose Fill form when fields are detected, then select a field on the page or in Fields.

  2. Enter its value or select the available choice. Repeat for the required fields.

  3. Use Clear values only when you intend to reset the form. Decide whether to enable Flatten before saving.

  4. You can switch to other editor tools without losing the values. Download all changes together and check the filled fields in a PDF reader.

Download and check the result

The result view shows the created output. Downloading a file and checking its contents are separate steps.

  1. Read the output name, count and size in the result view. If processing reported a problem, return to the settings and correct it before continuing.

  2. Choose Download and keep the new file separate from your original. If several outputs are packaged together, open the archive to find them.

  3. Open the downloaded result in a suitable viewer. Check the pages and content affected by this task. Keep your original until you are satisfied.

Output and limits

This tool works with supported PDF form fields. A printed form that is only a page image does not automatically gain fields. Use Annotate to add visible text. Flatten merges filled values into the page so they cannot be changed as form values. Without flattening, supported fields remain interactive.
