How to use it
Add the PDF files or images to combine. Use Files to arrange whole inputs or Pages to arrange individual pages.
Use Files to merge and the selection controls to include the pages you want. File and page selection describe the same output.
Optionally enable Page numbers or Keep metadata. Inspect the included pages and their order.
Choose Merge, check the result and download the PDF.
Check the order before merging
The output follows the order of the prepared documents and pages.
Read the file names and inspect the first page of each input.
Use the file or page view to check the sequence. Reorder the items before running Merge if needed.
Check the join between the end of the first document and the start of the second.
Choose numbering and metadata
Optional page numbers are added to the merged output.
Enable Page numbers if you want new numbers across the merged document.
Choose their position and check for existing numbers that could overlap.
Decide whether Keep metadata is appropriate for the output title, author and subject.
Download and check the result
The result view shows the created output. Downloading a file and checking its contents are separate steps.
Read the output name, count and size in the result view. If processing reported a problem, return to the settings and correct it before continuing.
Choose Download and keep the new file separate from your original. If several outputs are packaged together, open the archive to find them.
Open the downloaded result in a suitable viewer. Check the pages and content affected by this task. Keep your original until you are satisfied.
Output and limits
Merge produces one PDF containing its included pages in workspace order. Excluded pages are not saved in that merged file. Images become PDF pages. Keep metadata copies the title, author, subject and keywords from the first file. It does not merge conflicting document properties.
