How to use it
Add photos or scans, or use the camera where the browser and device make it available.
Open a page to inspect its detected document corners and adjust the frame. Use the available before/after view to compare the correction.
Choose a scan filter and page size. Rotate or delete unwanted pages, then return to the page overview to check their order.
Save and download the assembled PDF.
Make a photographed page readable
Filters adjust the page image. Keep colour when it carries information.
Compare Auto, Color, Gray and B&W.
Look closely at faint writing and small text.
Choose the filter that preserves the information, even if another looks cleaner.
Set the scanned page size
Fit follows the image. Standard paper gives the output a familiar page size.
Choose Fit, A4 or Letter.
Inspect the page edges and orientation.
Make sure the complete document remains inside the output page before saving.
Download and check the result
The result view shows the created output. Downloading a file and checking its contents are separate steps.
Read the output name, count and size in the result view. If processing reported a problem, return to the settings and correct it before continuing.
Choose Download and keep the new file separate from your original. If several outputs are packaged together, open the archive to find them.
Open the downloaded result in a suitable viewer. Check the pages and content affected by this task. Keep your original until you are satisfied.
Output and limits
Scan to PDF combines its pages into one PDF. Text recognition is enabled by default so recognized text can be searched and copied. Recognition can miss words, especially in blurred, skewed or low-contrast photographs. Inspect the output before discarding the originals.
Scan correction prepares photographed pages. Use Edit text for replacing text and Scanned look for deliberately adding a scanner-style effect.
